Be sure to get props that are of high quality, and they’ll be the most valuable asset you have.• Learn about the cosplay industry, and why it matters.
You can’t just buy a cheap costume and expect to have a good time, and that’s a problem for many cosplays.
Cosplayers are passionate about their work and want to share their experiences and knowledge with the world, so you need to be open-minded.
If a cosplayer is unsure of the importance of the cosplayer community, you can always ask the community what they think about cosplay.• Take advantage of cosplays in your community.
If someone in your cosplaying community is new to cosplays, or if you have a friend who does, ask them to bring you some props.
You’ll be amazed at the cosplayers you meet, and you’ll be able to tell them about the different cosplays you like and have made.• Have fun!
You’ll probably make a lot of friends cosplaying.
Don’t forget to give some props to other cosplayers as well, because it’s a great way to learn about different types of cosplayers and the various types of props they make.
